Who we are

This website, The Hamberger Report, is published by Te Pono Limited, Wellington, New Zealand. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Te Pono Limited.

What we collect

When you subscribe to The Hamberger Report newsletter, we collect your email address. If you contact us, we collect the details you choose to send. Our website provider, Squarespace, also collects technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit.

Why we collect it

We use your email address to send you The Hamberger Report newsletter and to confirm your subscription. We do not use it for anything else without asking you first.

How we hold and share it

Your subscriber details are held in Squarespace, which processes data on our behalf, including outside New Zealand. We use Google reCAPTCHA on our sign-up form to block spam. We do not sell your information or give it to others for their own marketing.

Your choices

Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. You can unsubscribe at any time, and we will stop sending you emails.

Access and correction

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Email andreas@thehambergerreport.com and we will respond within 20 working days.

Complaints

If you think we have breached your privacy, contact us first. You can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
